Aman is a New York based corporate and venture attorney whose practice spans M&A, venture and private investments, commercial transactions, and startup advisory. He advises companies from inception through exit, and negotiates complex multi-party contracts, including operating and shareholder agreements, technology and service contracts, and licensing arrangements. His practice also covers U.S. market entry, including subsidiary formation, business and investment immigration, and cross-border due diligence.
Aman’s background is a mix of transactional law, financial markets, and federal regulatory policy, giving him a panoramic perspective on complex, regulated industries and the transactions that shape them. Aman began his post-law school career in cubicles on Wall Street as a legal/regulatory analyst and consultant for two bulge-bracket banks, negotiating derivative contracts and advising trading desks across multiple asset classes.
Aman earned his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School, where he served as a member of The George Washington International Law Review. Before heading to Washington D.C. to study law, he earned his B.S. in finance and economics from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
Born and raised on Long Island, Aman is a native New Yorker through and through. He grew up with the Knicks and Mets, and has taken a more recent (2013) oath to the Buffalo Bills. Above all, Aman is guided by faith and family, which anchor his practice and purpose both inside and outside the practice of law.
