AMAN CHEEMA

Aman is a New York based attorney whose practice focuses on M&A, venture and private investments, commercial transactions, startup and emerging company matters, and U.S. market entry. He represents domestic and international founders, investors, privately held companies, and emerging businesses throughout the corporate lifecycle, from formation and early-stage financing through growth, strategic transactions, and exits.

His services include corporate formation and governance, equity and ownership matters, joint ventures, strategic transactions, contract review and drafting, and general corporate advisory. He routinely structures and negotiates operating and shareholder agreements, investment and financing transactions, technology and service contracts, licensing arrangements, and other complex commercial agreements. Aman also represents international companies establishing and expanding their operations in the United States, including in connection with subsidiary formation and governance, commercial contracting, corporate structuring, and cross border due diligence.

Aman’s background combines law, financial markets, and federal regulatory policy. Before entering private practice, he worked on Wall Street as a legal and regulatory analyst and consultant to multiple global investment banks.

Aman earned his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School, where he served as a member of The George Washington International Law Review. He earned his B.S. in Finance and Economics from the Stern School of Business at New York University.

A native New Yorker, Aman is an avid Knicks, Mets, and Buffalo Bills fan.
